What is Jupyter Open?
Jupyter Open provides current students, faculty, and staff with access to general purpose JupyterLab instances. Jupyter Open is a free to use service provided by the University of British Columbia for educational purposes. Jupyter allows educators from many disciplines to convey a wide range of complex topics to students with an interactive experience. Examples of disciplines that can be supported include Computer Science & Engineering, Data Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Bio Sciences, and Machine Learning.
What’s included in Jupyter Open?
Jupyter Open runs a customized version of the Jupyter Datascience Notebook conatainer from Docker Stacks that includes additional Kernels and Plugins.
Jupyter Open Kernels:
- Python 3
- R Language
- Julia
- Sage Math 9.5
